Sage Accounts Package

Sage Accountants' Club MemberSage is one of the best known and most popular accounts packages and we have a number of staff trained in all aspects of the software.

We can offer a full service starting with installation of the software, setup and training progressing to follow up visits.  Alternatively we can offer you a Sage Health Check, where we come to your premises, check you are running the system as it should be, talk about backups and address any queries you have.

Complete Training Package

For those clients wanting Set up and complete training we offer our complete training package.

We will work with you to set up your accounts/payroll package and provide you/your staff with training visits and further support until you are established and confident in using Sage.

A typical training programme would be:

  1. Initial discussion - establish how your business runs and what your needs will be. Decide which components of Sage you will use and decide on the correct Sage package for you.
  1. Visit 1 - install and set up Sage. Start setting up Customers and Suppliers/Bank Accounts and the Nominal Accounts you will need.  Start setting up payroll if applicable. Determine opening balances and enter onto the system.

    Train you/your staff in the day to day entry of data onto Sage using real data, dealing with the basic principles of Sage and bookkeeping. Leave you to continue with the data inputting for the first month.
  1. Visit 2 - Undertake month end checks and reconciliations. Assistance with the first Pay Run. Train you on how to complete bank reconciliations on Sage and how to produce standard reports such as Creditors and Debtors reports.
  1. Visit 3 - VAT reconciliation and preparing the VAT return including training you on the procedures for VAT.
  1. Further visits and support when necessary as you gain confidence or to cover further topics.

This package can be increased or reduced to suit the capabilities and knowledge of Sage that you and your staff have.

If you answer yes to any of these questions you are not alone!  You may wish to consider a Sage Health Check.  One of our Sage Specialists will come and visit you and make sure that you getting the most out of your system.  The cost is £199 + VAT for a half day visit and includes travel within 10 miles of our office.
