Audit and Accounts Senior/ Supervisor

We are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior or Supervisor to join our growing Not for Profit department.

The Supervisor/Senior is expected to be involved in and oversee all aspects of the assignments from planning to completion, this will involve reviewing, and on larger and more complex assignments preparing, a high quality completed file for manager or director review.

This role will provide plenty of opportunity to develop managerial skills and offers realistic progression opportunities to a managerial role.

The client base is mainly Not for Profit with opportunities to work with Academies and Charities as well as some corporate audit work throughout the year.

Candidates should be:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA with good technical competence including solid audit experience
  • Highly IT literate, Caseware experience an advantage
  • Team player with the ability to supervise and manage a team

Trainee Admin Assistant

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants seeking a pro-active and motivated college leaver to join our team as a Trainee Admin Assistant.

The post holder must be competent in Microsoft Office products, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel. We are looking for someone educated to A-Level or equivalent standard and with good GCSE grades in English and Maths. Previous admin experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for a confident and helpful all round team player.

The role is based in the Reception area and incorporates a variety of administration tasks such as (but not limited to):

  • Act as one of the first points of contact for the company, to both clients and suppliers, via the telephone and in person.
  • Filing & searching for documents in the Document Management System.
  • Populating mail merges. This may include the creation of data sources and filtering results for inclusion in the typed documents.
  • Preparing rooms for seminars, webinars and meetings including the organisation of refreshments.
  • Setting up new clients on our accountancy data base.
  • Processing of client’s payments.
  • Assisting with Credit Control, when required.
  • Providing support to the Account Managers and Senior Management.
  • Providing support to the Office Manager
  • Processing outgoing post.

The position is full time with hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm. Salary will be dependent on experience. It would also be preferable for the candidate to have their own car.
